Day 1: Kuyucak – Lavender Gardens – Eğirdir – Isparta
After a pleasant overnight journey, we arrive in the region in the morning. Our first stop is Kuyucak Village, located in the Keçiborlu district of Isparta. We begin our tour in this paradise where you can journey to the heart of Isparta’s lavender fields.
Years ago, the first lavender saplings were planted in the dry, waterless fields of Kuyucak Village to prevent them from remaining barren. Today, these fields have expanded to cover 3,000 hectares. You will capture unforgettable photos among the mesmerizing colors, scents, and enchanting atmosphere of the lavender gardens.
After our lavender garden tour, guests will have the opportunity to purchase lavender products (oil, water, soap, tea, etc.), lavender honey, and other local goods produced by the villagers at designated stalls. We will then take a stroll among the traditional Kuyucak houses, made of adobe, stone, and wood, before heading to Eğirdir.
In Eğirdir, we will visit Hızırbey Mosque (Ulu Cami), Dündarbey Madrasah, and Eğirdir Castle, followed by free time in the town’s bazaar. Next, we will take a short tour of Yeşilada and Can Islands, which were once separate islands but are now connected to the mainland. Afterward, we will visit the Prof. Dr. Turhan Yazgan Ethnography Museum in the city center of Isparta.
At the end of this delightful day, we check into our hotel in Isparta, enjoy dinner, and stay overnight.
Day 2: Sagalassos Ancient City – Burdur Lake – Salda Lake
After breakfast at the hotel, we set off for Sagalassos Ancient City, a place of love, passion, and emperors. The Antonine Fountain, built between 161 and 180 AD during the reign of Roman Emperor Marcus Aurelius, still flows today. We are sure you will experience a special feeling when you drink from its waters.
With our guide, we will listen to stories and legends as we explore the ancient city on foot. Then, we continue our journey to Burdur, where we will take panoramic views of the town center and capture beautiful photos of Burdur Lake from the best vantage points.
Next, we head to Salda Lake, one of the most visited destinations in recent years. Known as the “Maldives of Turkey”, Salda is also the deepest freshwater lake in Turkey. Here, you will have time to relax and enjoy the breathtaking scenery.
After spending a wonderful time at Salda Lake, we begin our return journey. With scheduled breaks along the way, we arrive in Istanbul in the evening, marking the end of our tour.
