(2 Nights in Tokyo – 3 Nights in Kyoto – 1 Night in Osaka)
Day 1 / ISTANBUL – TOKYO
Dear Lika Travel guests, we will meet on Thursday, April 3, at 12:30 PM at the Turkish Airlines check-in counter in the International Departures terminal of Istanbul Airport. After completing our baggage and passport procedures together, we will take our flight TK50 at 3:20 PM. (This night will be spent on the plane.)
Day 1 / TOKYO TOWER – SENSOJI TEMPLE – NAKAMISE
The next day, we will arrive at Narita Airport at 8:30 AM local time. After completing customs and passport procedures, we will head to our hotel in Tokyo to drop off our luggage. Then, we will start our Tokyo city tour.
Our first stop in Tokyo is the Tokyo Tower, which is 333 meters tall and the second tallest structure in Japan. After enjoying the panoramic view of Tokyo, where we will be staying for two nights, we will proceed to a restaurant famous for its exquisite cuisine to have lunch.
After our delightful lunch, we will visit Sensoji Temple, the oldest temple in Tokyo, completed in 645 AD. Guests will have free time in Nakamise, located right next to the temple.
Following our free time, we will return to the hotel to rest and then gather at the designated time for dinner together.

Day 2 / MEIJI SHRINE – IMPERIAL PALACE – GINZA
After having breakfast at our hotel, we will start the day with a visit to Meiji Shrine.
Dedicated to Emperor Meiji and Empress Shoken, this Shinto shrine is located in a forest covering 70 hectares, consisting of 120,000 trees from 365 different species donated by people from all over Japan when the shrine was built.
After visiting the shrine, we will move to the Tokyo Imperial Palace, the residence of Japanese emperors since 1868. The palace complex includes archives, a museum, administrative offices, and residences for the Imperial family, surrounded by moats and stone walls.
We will then head to Ginza, where we will have lunch in the heart of this famous shopping district. Before leaving Tokyo, our guests will enjoy free time for shopping in this iconic area.
At the designated time, we will meet in the hotel lobby and head to one of Tokyo’s signature restaurants, where a scene from the movie Kill Bill was filmed, for a delightful dinner to end the day.

Day 3 / HAKONE – OSHINO HAKKAI – OWAKUDANI – KYOTO
After breakfast and check-out procedures at our hotel, we will bid farewell to Tokyo and take the Shinkansen (bullet train) to Hakone.
(Since large luggage is not allowed on the train, our bags will be transferred to our Kyoto hotel by a private vehicle.)
Arriving in Hakone, a charming town near Tokyo and Mount Fuji, we will first visit Oshino Hakkai, a picturesque village fed by aquifer springs from Mount Fuji, and enjoy some free time there.
We will then gather and head to our designated restaurant for a delightful lunch before moving on to Owakudani, a volcanic valley known as the “Great Boiling Valley.” We will ascend via cable car to this active volcanic mountain, where guests can shop and take memorable photos.
At the designated time, we will reunite for dinner and then take another bullet train to Kyoto. Upon arrival, we will settle into our hotel and meet again at the designated time for dinner.

Day 4 / BAMBOO FOREST – RYOANJI TEMPLE – IMPERIAL PALACE
After breakfast at our hotel, our first stop will be the famous Bamboo Forest in Kyoto’s Arashiyama district.
With Lika Travel’s signature experience, our guests will have a unique opportunity to explore the Bamboo Forest on Tuk Tuks for approximately 45 minutes.
After the forest, we will visit Ryoanji Temple, part of the Rinzai school of Zen Buddhism, known for its iconic rock garden. Also referred to as the Temple of the Peaceful Dragon, it is one of Kyoto’s most renowned sites.
Next, we will enjoy lunch at a surprise restaurant featuring French cuisine. Afterward, we will visit the Imperial Palace gardens, capturing the best Sakura (cherry blossom) photos and immersing ourselves in their enchanting beauty.
After a day well spent, we will return to our hotel to rest. Later, we will join a sushi-making class led by a master chef, where we will enjoy our handmade sushi and end the day with a delightful experience.

Day 5 / NARA PARK – TODAIJI TEMPLE – FUSHIMI INARI
After breakfast, we will leave our hotel to visit Japan’s first capital, Nara.
Upon arrival, we will visit Nara Deer Park, where hundreds of freely roaming deer, considered messengers of the gods in Shinto beliefs, can be fed and photographed.
Next, we will tour Todai-ji Temple, one of Japan’s most famous and historically significant Buddhist temples.
The final stop of the day will be Fushimi Inari Taisha, a prominent Shinto shrine featuring thousands of red wooden gates, one of Japan’s most iconic landmarks dating back to 794 AD.
We will have lunch at a restaurant in Kyoto, followed by an exclusive kimono experience where guests can wear traditional kimonos and stroll through the streets of Kyoto.
In the evening, we will attend a Genko performance during a special dinner to conclude the day.

Day 6 / HIROSHIMA – MIYAJIMA – OSAKA
After breakfast and check-out procedures at our hotel, we will take the bullet train to Hiroshima.
(As large luggage is not allowed on the train, our bags will be transferred to our Osaka hotel by a private vehicle.)
Following a 1.5-hour train ride, we will arrive in Hiroshima and then take a ferry to Miyajima Island, known for Itsukushima Shrine and its iconic floating Torii Gate, one of Japan’s top three scenic views.
We will enjoy lunch at a restaurant on the island and then return by ferry to Hiroshima. There, we will visit the Atomic Bomb Dome and Peace Museum, significant historical landmarks, before taking the bullet train to Osaka.
Upon arrival in Osaka, we will settle into our hotel and later gather for dinner at the designated time.

Day 7 / OSAKA – ISTANBUL
After breakfast and check-out procedures at our hotel, we will start our Osaka tour.
Our first stop is Osaka Castle, where we will walk beneath Sakura trees before visiting the majestic castle. Next, we will head to the 40-story Umeda Sky Building to enjoy a panoramic view of Osaka.
For our last lunch, we will dine at a Michelin-starred Italian restaurant before heading to Dotonbori, where guests will have free time for shopping.
At 6:00 PM, we will depart for the airport and, after completing baggage and ticketing procedures, board flight TK87 at 9:55 PM to Istanbul. We will arrive at Istanbul Airport at 5:00 AM local time the next day (April 11, 2025, Friday).
