Estimated Return Time to Istanbul:
Depending on regional traffic and conditions, arrival in Istanbul is expected between 20:00 and 22:00.

We will pick up our valued Travel Lewisia guests from designated departure points at the scheduled times and embark on our Day Trip to Maşukiye, Gölcük, and Ormanya, including visits to Hobbit Houses, the Glass Terrace, and the Upside-Down House, accompanied by our expert photography instructor.

As part of the tour, a 30-minute basic photography workshop will be conducted at a suitable location chosen by our instructor. Participants can join the tour with or without their own cameras. This tour is perfect for those who want to get into photography but don’t know where to start, hobby photographers, anyone interested in learning the basics of photography, and those who simply want to enjoy nature.

Tour Itinerary

Maşukiye:

Our first stop is Maşukiye, where we will enjoy a traditional Turkish breakfast (extra charge).

During the free time provided by our guide, guests can choose to enjoy tea or Turkish coffee by the waterfall and artificial river, take a scenic walk through the forest, or participate in thrilling activities like:

• Nature walks through lush greenery, wooden houses, and fragrant flowers.
• ATV/UTV safari tours (extra charge) along natural trails, riversides, and forest paths, with a rest stop at a scenic point overlooking Sapanca.
• Zipline adventure (extra charge) for an adrenaline rush.

Glass Terrace:

Following our time in Maşukiye, we will head to the Ayrı Gezegen Glass Terrace (extra charge). This is the first and only glass terrace in the Marmara region, offering a breathtaking 185-meter-high view of Sapanca Lake and the surrounding mountains.

Gölcük Lake:

After our Glass Terrace experience, we will move to Gölcük Lake, where we will have lunch (included in the price). Lunch menu: grilled sucuk (Turkish sausage sandwich) with a soft drink.

Here, you will have time to relax and enjoy traditional Turkish music played with tulum and kemençe (bagpipe and fiddle), making for an entertaining and lively atmosphere.

Ormanya Wildlife Park:

Our final stop is Ormanya Wildlife Park, one of the highlights of our tour. This park features:

• Wildlife areas where animals roam freely in their natural habitats.
• Walking and cycling trails, as well as camping areas.
• Nature School and Wildlife Rescue Center.
• A free-to-enter zoo with 53 different species and 467 animals, including deer, gazelles, and roe deer, that can be observed in their natural environment.

You can either explore the scenic trails, observe wildlife, or relax at the café inside the zoo.

After our time in Ormanya, we will gather at our vehicles and begin our return journey to Istanbul.
